Ministry Week #1

Concluding our first ministry week, our team of 4 met with 22 students, most of which were freshmen. Since our group is focusing on the Science faculty, it has been a challange to find and meet with freshmen/sophomore science majors. But, God is good and lead us to speak with the students that we did. It was exausting, mentally. We know little Thai, they know little english, but it was amazing to see the Lord intervene and give the students that we met a true interest in us and in our COT ministry leader (COT=Campus Outreach Thailand). Some students knew english pretty well, and love to practice it with foreigners and we were more than happy to be that outlet to reach out to them. This next week I think we will be targeting more students as well as following up and spending more time with the students that we met this week.

God is slowly using us to plant seeds in these students hearts and we have hope that God will eventually allow us to link these students with Campus Outreach and the church. Below are Thai students that my ministry partners and I have met.

This weekend has been a resting period for the team. A much needed resting time from a long, but beautiful week. Our team has been spending some quality time together. Yesterday, we went to a King Cobra Club which was probably the most bazzare experience I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. I will post videos below. Today was another great encouraging sabbath followed by basketball and badminton with 5-6 Thai students afterwards at the church. Praise God from whom all blessing flow! I hope and pray that you all are having wonderful and fruitful summers. We are all missionaries. Same mission, different location, all for his GLORY!

"But thanks be to GOD, that you who were once sloaves of sin become obediant from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness." -Romans 6:17-18
